| This is a very good strategy game that pits you as the leader of an independent planet against the expansionist goals of your totalitarian neighbor. Research and resource allocation play huge roles in this game, but I started Maelstrom with a strong background in Orion, and won Maelstrom on my first try. The user interface, is very well-designed, proving that it IS possible to create a graphically-rich game without generating scads of install disks and taking up huge chunks of the end-user's hard drive! | |||
